Armor CT Black

LENOX coats its Armor CT Black in a combination of aluminum, titanium and nitrogen to form a tough coating that protects the carbide saw blade’s teeth from heat and wear. Other improvements to the blade include preventing heat buildup by forcing more heat into the chips, minimizing premature band breaks with backing steel and using micro-grained carbide tips that can cut a wide range of metals.
