Deadbolt offers smartphone compatibility, remote access
From: Schlage
Schlage, a brand of Allegion, announces its Schlage Sense Smart Deadbolt now has Android smartphone compatibility. With the Schlage Sense Wi-Fi Adapter, Android and Apple users can access locks remotely through the Schlage Sense app—available through the Google Play store and App Store. Without connecting to an existing home automation system or subscription charge, the free app allows users to create and delete up to 30 unique access codes for the deadbolt; update settings and check battery life; and, using the Wi-Fi adapter, lock and unlock the deadbolt from anywhere, check the lock’s status and receive push notifications when the lock is used.
