Russ is regularly called upon for design assistance on outdoor kitchen projects for some of Kalamazoo’s higher-profile clientele. In his role as chief designer at Kalamazoo Outdoor Gourmet, he spearheads the company’s innovative approach to product design, performance and quality. His Artisan Fire Pizza Oven and latest Hybrid Fire Grills have created new industry benchmarks. A student of design, Russ holds his degree from Washington University in St. Louis, Mo. Russ is also an avid cook and author of Cook:Out, Kalamazoo Outdoor Gourmet’s popular new cookbook.
